FisherPoets Gathering is a unique, multi-day festival held each winter in Astoria, celebrating the commercial fishing life through poetry, storytelling, and music. Run On The River Half Marathon, 10K and 5K
Run on the River (May 30, 2026) is Astoria’s spring road race featuring a Half Marathon, 10 K, and 5 K along the scenic riverfront. With locally made finisher medals, post-race celebration, and community fundraising for youth programs, it’s a welcoming event for runners and walkers of all levels.

Ragnar Rainier Trail Race
Ragnar Trail Rainier is a team-based trail running event held near Mount Rainier, where teams of 4 or 8 runners rotate through scenic forest and alpine trail loops over the course of a day and night. Featuring rugged terrain, elevation gain, and a lively basecamp atmosphere, the race blends endurance, teamwork, and mountain adventure into one memorable weekend.

The Great Columbia Crossing 10K
The Great Columbia Crossing 10K is a scenic 10K run/walk held each October in Astoria, Oregon, featuring a rare chance to run across the Astoria-Megler Bridge over the Columbia River. Open to runners and walkers of all levels, the chip-timed event includes stunning river views, shuttle access to the start, finisher medals, and a welcoming community atmosphere.

The Great Columbia Crossing 10K
Experience the glory of the Columbia River as you trek across the Astoria-Megler Bridge during this unique opportunity to walk/run across the bridge! This 10K offers a scenic adventure on a fairly flat road with one STEEP incline to the peak of the bridge. It is the longest continuous truss bridge in North America. Whether you're an experienced runner or looking for a family-friendly event, the Great Columbia Crossing 10K appeals to everyone. See you on the bridge!
