History
During the summer of 2015 I was invited on a weekend guys float trip. Twelve late twenties/early thirty somethings gathered at a canoe rental company in southern Missouri, eager to start our adventure.
We traveled at the pace of the river. We drank beer, told stories and created new memories as the day went on. Rope swings were tested, cliffs were braved and meals were cooked over handcrafted wooden fires. That weekend sparked a great passion for spending more time in the great outdoors. Since that weekend I have jumped headfirst into backpacking, hiking, camping and fly fishing. I even purchased a 30 year old class a motorhome with my girlfriend and we hope to travel the western United States with our two dogs this year.

I picked up a set of the DJI Mic Mini’s to make my videos easier to understand in the windy environments we have on the Oregon Coast. This is a quick overview of how I like the Mic’s so far and a quick test with and without them turned on to show the difference.
“Hey babe, you wanna go on a weekend camping trip with the dogs to Mt. Hood in a couple weeks?” my wife asked me as the Oregon summer really started to set in for both of us. Warm days, drenched in sun, split right down their middles with a belt of cold rivers and melting snow from the mountains above us.
